Hi, I’m Madeline.
I’m a massage therapist in Sacramento, a lifelong dancer, and a professional Argentine Tango teacher. Movement has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up dancing, later taught ballet, and eventually found myself called toward a more hands-on way of helping people connect with their bodies.
That path led me to massage.
My work is rooted in the idea that every body is different, and every session should be different too. Some people come in needing deep rest. Some need help releasing built-up tension. Some want focused work on a specific area that feels stuck, tight, or overworked. Most people need a little bit of all of that.
My favorite thing is helping someone’s body finally soften. That moment when the breath drops, the shoulders let go, and the nervous system realizes it does not have to keep bracing. I love creating space for that.
My massage sessions are customized to the person in front of me. I often focus on relaxation, fascia mobility, and the way tension moves through the whole kinetic chain. I also draw from deep tissue work and a wide range of other bodywork techniques when they are useful. I do not follow the same routine for every client. I listen, adjust, and work with what your body is showing me that day.
Because of my background in dance and movement teaching, I tend to notice patterns: how one area compensates for another, where effort is being held, and where the body might need support instead of force. My goal is to offer massage that feels warm, attentive, and effective without being rushed or generic.
Whether you are looking for relaxation, tension relief, more mobility, or simply a place to land for a while, you are welcome here.
